Stormwater treatment did not always exist and has only come to exist with the different changes that have come about on the different cities that exist now. Stormwater treatment did not really exist when there were cities that were more spread out so that the water would just seep into the ground and then be purified by the ground. However as times have been changing and the structures of the places that people live in also change stormwater treatment has become more prevalent.
