My little discussion about mobility as a service
Mobile workforce solutions are based on the premise that company servers need not be physically located at the office. Any company wishing to stay competitive in the 21st Century needs to recognize that web based services are the wave of the future. Workers themselves are trending toward working not within the traditional 9 to 5 office cubicle paradigm but at all hours of the day and from wherever they may be located, be it at the airport or poolside on a summer day. Of course, as noted above, this new state of the world raises network compliance and security issues. How to keep the mobile workforce updated with the latest security patches and policy updates to minimize risk to the company.
